Halfway Through the Year—A Moment to Breathe and Believe

Can you believe we are already halfway through 2026? June has passed, and we are stepping into the second half of the year.

If you’ve been feeling a little tired or wondering if you’re “on track,” I want you to stop for a moment. Take a deep breath. Whether you feel like you’ve accomplished everything you planned or you’re still searching for your next step, you have already done so much just by being you.

1. Acknowledging your “Quiet Growth” Sometimes, we measure our success by big milestones. But as someone who has navigated a decade of teaching and launching my own business, I’ve learned that the most important growth happens in the quiet moments—the times you chose to be kind to yourself, the days you kept going when things were tough, and the moments you dared to dream of something more.

2. The Tanabata Spirit: Nurturing your wishes Yesterday was Tanabata, the Star Festival. Seeing the wishes on the bamboo—dreams for the future, family happiness, and world peace—reminded me that our hopes are like seeds. Even if they haven’t blossomed yet, they are growing beneath the surface. You don’t need to force the result; you only need to keep “incubating” your dreams with patience and love.

3. Your “Ibasho” in the second half of the year As we look toward the months ahead, remember that your worth isn’t defined by your output or your status. It is defined by the peace you find within yourself—your Ibasho. You are exactly where you need to be.

Final Thought for You You don’t have to run faster to catch up. Just keep walking, keep nurturing your seeds, and keep believing in the light that is uniquely yours. The second half of 2026 is a fresh start. Let’s make it a time to bloom at our own pace.
