Hello, everyone.

I have always loved listening to Rakugo (traditional Japanese comedic storytelling). Depending on the story, it can be so chilling that I can’t sleep at night, so hilarious that my stomach hurts from laughing, or so moving that I find myself in tears. To me, Rakugo contains all the flavors of life.

The ultimate goal of my work is “World Peace.”

Looking back at history, it seems there has never been a time without conflict; somewhere in the world, a struggle is always happening. Even in our daily lives—at school or in the workplace—there are moments that disturb our inner peace. Yet, on the other hand, there are also moments that truly warm the heart.

My mission is to share these beautiful, subtle aspects of Japanese culture with the world.

That brings me to my latest challenge. I wanted to take Rakugo—a quintessential part of Japanese heritage—and create something very short and accessible for everyone today. I’ve challenged myself to write an original piece that makes you think, “I’ve felt that way too!”

I hope to continue creating stories that resonate with your daily lives.
