When studying Japanese verb conjugations, do the terms “Ren’yōkei” (conjunctive form) and “Rentaikei” (attributive form) ever get confusing?

• Ren’yōkei (連用形): Connects to Yōgen (용언 / verbs and adjectives).
• Example: “Kaki” (連用形) + “Masu” (Verb) = Kakimasu
• Rentaikei (連体形): Connects to Taigen (체언 / nouns).
• Example: “Kaku” (連体形) + “Toki” (Noun) = Kaku toki
