Actually, tomorrow marks exactly one year since I started my own business!
Looking back over the past year, my heart is filled with pure gratitude. I could never have made it this far without the incredible warmth and support of each and every one of you.
The messages I’ve received are my absolute treasures:
- From a video buyer: “Thanks to your videos, I met a wonderful partner!”
- From a bag buyer: “I will cherish and use this beautiful bag for a long time.”
- From my followers: “Your talks always bring a smile to my face.”
Every single purchase and every kind word has kept me going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Now I can laugh about it, but right around the launch, I had a massive tech fail: I thought my website had been live for months, only to realize it wasn’t published at all! Even at that discouraging moment, it was a kind customer who reached out and let me know. Looking back, I have been saved by the kindness of my customers since day one.
And on this milestone, I also want to take a moment to thank myself.
I started blindly with just a single business line. But through daily trial and error, consistent effort, and small steps, I am now successfully running businesses across three different fields. It’s the accumulation of those daily efforts that built the path I walk today.
As I step into my second year tomorrow, I will continue to happily create spaces (Ibasho) and beautiful things that bring joy to your lives.
Oh, and by the way…! If you happen to buy something from my shop tomorrow on my actual anniversary, it would make me absolutely, incredibly happy (haha)!
