A Weekend Treat!

Today, I’d like to share a glimpse of our dinner. I made homemade fried chicken, responding to a sweet request from my family.

Our family’s favorite recipe relies heavily on garlic. However, on weekdays, I tend to avoid using too much garlic out of consideration for the next day’s work and school.

This makes cooking on a day off feel incredibly special. Taking full advantage of the weekend, I marinated the chicken with an abundance of freshly grated garlic, allowing the flavors to develop beautifully.

The kitchen filled with the savory aroma of soy sauce and garlic as the chicken sizzled in the oil. It is always a comforting and appetizing scent.

The result was wonderful—crispy on the outside, and delightfully juicy on the inside. My family enjoyed it thoroughly, which is always the greatest reward for cooking.

It was a simple yet special weekend meal that brought warmth to our dining table.
