Lately, I’ve been challenging myself to create a new style of earrings, different from anything I’ve made before.

The star of this new project is the delicate and lovely “Baby’s Breath.” How can I preserve these tiny petals beautifully while ensuring they are comfortable for the wearer? I am currently in the middle of experimenting with various prototypes.

While the design is important, my top priority is the “fit.”

“How does it look in the mirror?” “Is it too loose and at risk of falling off?” “Or is it too tight and causing discomfort?”

I wear the prototypes myself throughout the day, checking every detail and making constant adjustments.

To be honest, it’s a series of failures! (laughs) Sometimes the colors don’t turn out as expected, or the structure isn’t strong enough. However, the process of thinking, “Okay, let’s try it this way next time!” is exactly what I enjoy the most.

The fresh, creative energy of this “trial and error” phase is something I hope to infuse into the final piece.
