A Bridge Between Hearts — Why I Do What I Do

🌍 Building Bridges: My Prayer for Peace and Connection

“I want to be a bridge between Japan and the world.” This isn’t just a business goal—it is the very reason I exist as a creator and a teacher.

The world is vast, and our “common sense” shifts the moment we cross a border. Through my travels, I have learned what it means to truly live.

☀️ Gratitude Under the Same Sun

I once stood among strangers from different countries, watching a massive sunset. Someone whispered, “We say thank you to the sun for letting us live another day, and then we go home.” Tears streamed down my face. At that moment, I felt a supreme happiness. Regardless of race or language, we were all connected by the same light.

🌸 Cherry Blossoms: A Promise of Peace

In another country, I saw cherry blossoms blooming in a place where our nations once fought. Japan sent those trees as a promise of friendship. I finally understood why cherry blossoms make us so happy: they are a living prayer for peace, born from the courage to move past sorrow.

🤝 Beyond Borders

Conflicts continue to haunt our world. But I still believe in the words of a taxi driver I once met abroad: “We are all different, but we are all heading toward the same goal—peace.”

When I travel, I experience both discrimination and incredible kindness. The truth is, you never know until you go. You never know until you connect.

I do my work because I want the world to know the heart of Japan. Even if it’s just a tiny step, I want to help build a future where no one’s loved ones are lost to hate. Each basket I weave, each lesson I teach, is a thread in that bridge of peace.
