Why I Chose to Create This Story

I am simply a lover of romance dramas. I love seeing heartwarming stories of love at the cinema or on TV, and that simple emotion was the initial catalyst for producing this video series.

However, there is another deeply held wish that led me to start producing and selling this “10-minute international romance drama.”

I love traveling, but honestly, due to historical events in Japan, I had a lingering discomfort with people from a certain country.

Then one day, I went to watch sumo wrestling. Sitting next to me were people from the country I had long felt uncomfortable with. As I was watching, they enthusiastically cheered for the very same wrestler I was supporting!

I was delighted and used my best broken English to talk to them about sumo. After the match, the two thanked me. I felt the anger and sadness I had held in my heart for so long soften and melt away, like ice in warm water, and I was deeply grateful for that moment.

I want to continue traveling. I wish for world peace. How could I convey this simple wish most powerfully to the most people?

It is not through lessons or lectures, but through action. And I truly believe that the thing which warms the human heart the most is love.

Music, sports, and food all easily cross borders, don’t they? My passion is to create a drama that includes all of these elements, showing the power of empathy as two people from different countries overcome cultural and historical walls through love. That is the driving force behind this series.

My Challenge and My Hope

I am currently engaged in three businesses, including video production. (I will share more details about these ventures later.)
