Living Simply: Choosing What Matters

There was a time when I felt like I was living only for my work.

Even outside of working hours, I couldn’t stop thinking about my job. I was constantly working overtime, and even the precious time I wanted to spend with my family was being sacrificed. “What am I living for?” I often asked myself, but I was too exhausted to even find the courage to stop.

But eventually, I made a decision to “intentionally” reclaim my life. I told my supervisor about my intention to leave a full year before I actually stepped down.

During that final year, I carefully reorganized my time, step by step. My husband supported me, saying, “It’s okay to prioritize our family,” and after leaving my job, I spent time as a homemaker to restore my own well-being.

In that quiet time, I asked myself how I really wanted to live. I chose to live more simply, following my own heart. That was the beginning of my journey into “Intentional Living.”

To live intentionally means to stop exhausting yourself just to meet others’ expectations, and instead, to choose only what is truly important to your heart.

From now on, I want to connect with all of you as my authentic, true self.

Today, there are no links to recommend, and no announcements to make. I simply wanted to share this quiet resolve and the story of my change with you, who always read my blog.

If you are currently pushing yourself to the limit for something else, why not try to have one “small intention” today, chosen only for your own heart?

Wishing you a peaceful day.
